A Blessing from Nature

A kiss from the sunlight, a touch of the breeze
The bright moon at night,
To light your way,
Flowers for the inner child,
And to add colour to your life,
Seed from the trees and plants,
Strung on a chain,
To adorn your neck and breast,
Shells for your feet and toes, to celebrate the seas,
And the waters of life,
The colour pink is for love, to spread across the world,
And to remember you are WOMEN!
A worthy daughter of Mother earth
.

Madam Winter, Maid of Spring

Madam Winter,
That ancient and crippled crone,
Relentlessly casts her black and barren shadow
Across the realm,
Unloved by all, although it be known,
That she must, travel mercilessly on,
Until her job is done,
She twists her icy fingers through,
Lady Autumns now, tattered and trailing hems,
Destroys the Lady's brilliant hues,
While weeping tears of ice and snow,
She lays the world to rest.
When she thinks she can no longer endure,
She hears a familiar sound,
Creeping through the cold
And hardened ground,
Heralding the beginning of the end,
Of Madam Winters cold and icy reign.
The Maid of Spring she does awake,
Slowly she breaks the shroud,
 Of ice and snow
And her dance of life begins,
Casting her arms wide,
She embraces the land anew,
And once again
Returns the realm to shades of green,
Scatters rainbow tints and pastel hues,
To the gentle winds,
Then with a flick of the wrist,
Finally turns gray skies to blue,
The creatures and the plants,
Of This wondrous world,
Join in the celebration,
As her sweet song, reverberates,
Sweetly melodious and clear,
Banishing Madam Winters strife,
For yet another year.

Book Candle Chalice...
Book Candle Chalice, a soft lit room,
Silence reigns, the listener  waits...
Allows the mind to drift and dream,
Of tales, legends and far-away places,
All is well, the calm and peace
Hums with expectant hush,
Of the 'Soul' feast to come.
Hark! who enters here...
Ahh!, it is time,
Let the Bard begin......
A resonant voice brings to life,
Each and every word,
Musical sounds spiral and vibrate,
Through mind and heart,
Thus, the hours of the long night depart,
So, it is with surprise, the silvery rays of Dawn,
Penetrate the window glass...
Returning reader and listeners all,
From the realms of fairytale and ages past,
Renewed, refreshed no thought of sleep,
The partakers of the Souls feast,
Just as silently as they came...
leave with smiles and quickened feet,
To farewell the fading moon,
and welcome the rising sun,
That brilliant golden orb,
Who heralds the return of day anew.
